In 2022, Mississippi received $40,000,770 in EDA grants for economic development projects, ranking 29th nationwide, according to the US Economic Development Administration (EDA).

The program that received the largest share of funds was economic adjustment assistance, which accounted for $24,834,618 in total grants.
