Bridge on SR 43 in Rankin County to close for repairs from July 28

Both directions of the SR 43 Bridge over the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Rankin County will be closed starting Monday, July 28. The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced that the closure is necessary for bridge repair and inspection.

The closure is expected to last until approximately Wednesday, October 1. During this period, motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and follow detour signs directing them to SR 25 and I-55.
