The Mississippi High School Activities Association announced on May 16 the schedule for the 2026 Baseball Championships, which will take place from May 19 to May 23 at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.

The event is significant for high school sports in the state as it brings together teams from various classes to compete for championships. The games are set to be streamed live on the NFHS Network’s Mississippi channel and broadcast across several local television stations, including ME TV – WAPT Channel 16.2 in Jackson and WLOX – Bounce 13.2 on the Gulf Coast. ESPN Radio 105.9 FM will also provide radio coverage of the games.

According to the schedule released by MHSAA, matches will begin Tuesday, May 19 with Class 4A (Poplarville vs. Mooreville) at 10:00 am and continue throughout each day with different class matchups. Game times are scheduled approximately thirty minutes after the end of previous games, and home teams are listed first with game order subject to change if necessary.

Televised games are planned for Thursday and Friday at set times—1:07 pm, 4:07 pm, and 7:07 pm—while all other matches can be accessed via live stream or radio broadcast. Saturday’s start time may shift depending on how many deciding ‘Game Three’ contests are needed across classes.

This annual tournament provides an opportunity for student-athletes from around Mississippi to showcase their talents on a prominent stage while engaging communities statewide through multiple media platforms.
