The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum is set to host its annual Harvest Festival from November 4-8, 2025, in Jackson. The event will run daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., inviting visitors to explore the state’s agricultural heritage through live demonstrations in Small Town, Mississippi.
The festival will offer interactive experiences such as operating the oldest running cotton gin in America, a sawmill, cane mill (available on Saturday only), print shop, and blacksmith shop. Admission is priced at $10 for individuals aged three and above. Families can also enjoy wagon, train, and carousel rides for $1 per rider.
In addition to the demonstrations, the museum’s general store will be open throughout the event, offering snacks and souvenirs. Concessions will also be available daily.
The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum operates under the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce.
