Large numbers of Mississippians are now being hospitalized for flu or COVID-19, and intensive care beds are running low. A strong flu season and increasing COVID-19 cases make flu shots and a current COVID-19 booster more important than ever. To stay healthy over the holidays, get a seasonal flu shot now. If your last COVID-19 booster or vaccination was more than two months ago, you need a current bivalent booster for the best possible protection.
