The NFIB Mississippi PAC has announced its endorsement of state Senator Jenifer Branning for a position on the state Supreme Court. This political action committee is made up solely of members from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Mississippi.
“Jenifer Branning’s experience as a lawyer and state senator has prepared her well for a seat on the state Supreme Court,” stated Leah Long, NFIB State Director.
Long emphasized the potential impact of the state Supreme Court on Mississippi’s economy. “Over the years, Senator Branning has shown our members she understands the issues facing Main Street businesses. She achieved a 97 percent NFIB voting record during her time in the legislature. Our members believe this insight would serve her well on the Supreme Court.”
She further added, “We need to elect justices who won’t try to legislate from the bench. We need justices with no agenda other than treating everyone fairly. That’s why the NFIB Mississippi PAC is proud to endorse Jenifer Branning.”
The endorsement provides significant grassroots support from small businesses across the state for Branning’s campaign. Small business owners and their employees are noted for their high voter turnout and efforts to encourage others to vote.
