The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced upcoming overnight lane closures on Interstate 55 in Madison County. These closures are scheduled to occur nightly from Monday, October 27, through Friday, October 31, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The lane closures will affect both northbound and southbound lanes between State Route 463 and Gluckstadt Road. The purpose of these closures is to facilitate bridge work related to the Reunion Parkway construction project.

MDOT advises drivers to reduce speed, remain vigilant, and prepare for moderate traffic during these hours. For updates on this project, MDOT recommends visiting their website at MDOTtraffic.com, downloading the MDOT Traffic mobile app, or following their social media accounts on Facebook and X under @MississippiDOT.
