Vicksburg - Warren County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

The Southern Heritage Air Foundation & Museum is hosting a Charity Sporting Clay Shoot on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Turcotte Shooting Range in Canton, Mississippi.

This fun Sporting Clay Shoot is for shooters of all levels!
$100 per shooter with 100 targets. (6 man teams or individual). Pre-Registration is required as there are only 72 spots are available.
8:30 am: Check-in
9:30 am: Starting Time
12:00 noon - 1 pm: Lunch provided by The Gumbo Pot. Red Beans & Rice, Cornbread and Bread Pudding.
(Door Prizes will be given out.)
Sign up as an individual or gather up a six man team, or sponsor a veteran or veterans team! (We will place individuals on a team if they do not have one.)
Sponsorship's are also available for this event for $300.
All proceeds will go to the Southern Heritage Air Foundation. A 501 c 3 Non-Profit that preserves the memorabilia and stories of local and regional WWII Veterans, provides a monthly free lunch to all veterans that join us, free turkeys for up to 60 local veterans at Thanksgiving, and lots of educational opportunities for students, and those that tour our museum. We also preserve WWII Vintage Aircraft and keep them flying. We sell rides in them to help offset the cost and keep them running and preserved as historical pieces. We support the communities of Vicksburg, Warren County, MS and Tallulah, Madison Parish, Louisiana.
SHAF is a member of the Vicksburg Warren Chamber of Commerce and the Madison Parish Chamber of Commerce. 2020 is also the year for our bi-annual Best Little Air Show in the Show where we share the proceeds with our sister organization The Warrior Bonfire Program!
