Mississippi State Department of Health - Issues Around Tobacco Use and Vaping

46

Recently, students and staff at Jefferson County High School confronted the issues around tobacco use and vaping with the help of their local Tobacco-Free Coalition.

Jefferson County High School students and faculty received "CATCH My Breath" tobacco prevention training from the Tobacco-Free Coalition of Adams, Franklin, and Jefferson counties. Following the training, students were inspired to create the video as part of their school's Take Down Tobacco Day activities. Take Down Tobacco Day is a national day of action that empowers people to stand up and speak out about the dangerous effects of all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes.
