The Department of History and the African American Studies Program seek applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2023. This joint appointment is open to candidates with an emphasis on Twentieth-Century African-American history, culture, and politics. Faculty hired in this position will teach a 2:2 load in undergraduate and graduate courses in both History and African American Studies, as well as supervise graduate students in History.
