JACKSON, Miss. – Governor Tate Reeves on June 1 announced that his Chief of Staff, Parker Briden, will be leaving the official office on June 2 in order to serve as a Senior Advisor to the re-elect campaign.

“Governor Reeves is a loyal, steady leader for this great state, and it will be an honor to help tell the story of Mississippi’s success through this campaign. From historic education gains to the economic development wins achieved in the last several years, it’s an easy story to tell,” said Parker Briden.

“I’ve been proud to have Parker by my side in the office helping achieve so many wins, managing through crises, and crafting strong policy. He will continue to be a trusted advisor and leader for our team as we work to earn four more years from the people of Mississippi,” said Governor Tate Reeves.

Briden has served as Chief of Staff for Governor Reeves since 2021. He previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff and managed communications for the successful 2019 campaign. He will serve as a senior advisor for the 2023 campaign, and is founding a political, crisis, and business consulting firm.

Anne Hall Brashier, the Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, will serve as interim Chief of Staff. Anne Hall previously served as a senior advisor in both the United States Senate and United States House of Representatives.  She joined the governor’s staff upon election in 2019 as deputy policy director.
