Tai’Reon Joseph Named First Team All-MACCC

East Central Community College’s Tai’Reon Joseph was tabbed First Team All-MACCC for his stellar year on the court in 2022-23.

Joseph, a sophomore from Baton Rouge, La., led the Warriors in points per game with 26.1 after shooting a blistering 35 percent from three-point range. His 678 points were the most in the MACCC and ranked seventh nationally, while his points per game average ranked second in the nation.

Joseph scored 94 three-pointers on the year, again the best in the conference and seventh-best in the nation. His efforts helped the Warriors average 86.6 points per game on the year, earn an NJCAA Region 23 playoff berth, and ECCC win 15 games for the first time in years.
