A Woodville, Mississippi resident has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. Reginald Lionel Gilmore, 40, was found guilty of possessing with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
Court records indicate that in January 2023, Gilmore sold 228 grams of methamphetamine for $3,000 in Wilkinson County.

The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. Assistant U.S. Attorney Bert Carraway prosecuted the case.
This prosecution falls under Operation Take Back America, a national initiative led by the Department of Justice aimed at countering illegal immigration, dismantling cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime. The operation coordinates resources from programs such as Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
