Mississippi State Department of Health - Even if You Haven’t Smoked in Years, You Can Develop Lung Cancer

Even if you haven’t smoked in years, you can develop lung cancer. If you're a heavy smoker now, or used to smoke more than a few cigarettes a day, special screening can alert you to possible lung cancer early, while it can still be easily treated.
