March Madness: Mississippi represented by 5 basketball players in women’s NCAA tournament

Mississippi is being represented by five players in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

Texas will have the most players on the hard court during this year's tournament with 47 players, followed by California with 46.

There are no players from Wyoming, West Virginia or New Mexico competing this year.

Brookhaven, Southaven, Meridian, Olive Branch and Brandon are the hometowns for the players from Mississippi.
