The NFIB Mississippi PAC has announced its endorsement of 30 incumbents for re-election to the state legislature. This decision is based on the candidates' records and their support of issues that impact small businesses throughout Mississippi. Comprised exclusively of NFIB members in the state, the PAC has thrown its support behind nine candidates for the Senate and 21 for the House of Representatives.
Dawn McVea, the NFIB State Director, remarked, "Our members support the candidates who support small businesses, and these 30 candidates have proven to our members they understand the challenges facing Main Street Mississippi." McVea indicated that the endorsed candidates have taken steps such as cutting individual income tax rates and passing significant tax reforms to foster an environment conducive to the growth and job creation opportunities for small businesses.
